JIM UPDATE

Jim, myself, and our other partner, Graham, threw a party last night for all of our efforts/success/support in our sports comedy collective endeavor.  When I walked in, Jim was sitting alone in the bar with one of our actresses, and the three of said our hello’s briefly before Jim casually grabbed my elbow and asked our actress to excuse us.  Don’t get too excited though, it was just business as he wanted to figure out how payment/drink tickets/food would be handled with the bartendress.

Throughout the evening I noticed Jim noticing me.  I also noticed how he managed to come find me every now and then—to say something cute, to introduce me to a friend of his, and once to even feed me a chicken finger.  Colin was texting me throughout the night, wanting me to come over after the party.  As I made my rounds to say goodbye, Jim started play fighting with me, in another strange flirtation that ended with him throwing me over his shoulder.  He put me down and we all slowly made our way to the door.  He asked me what I was doing, to which I replied “going home.”  I hate to admit it, but I’m not ready yet to fess up to him about Colin.  And it’s sort of horrible that I actually am ENJOYING his advances now.  When we started walking away in separate directions he turned to me to say goodnight and then stared at me a few seconds too long, looking like a sad puppy.  I think it’s massively and hilariously apropos that he doesn’t start showing more aggressive interest in me until I am finally happy and dating someone else.  But I’ve been crushing on this boy for almost a year, I’m not completely sure that I’m ready to shut the door on that yet.
